Born in France in 1947, Paul Clerc-Renaud graduated with a French MBA of Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in 1970.
After setting up and managing subsidiaries for the French SACA group in Australia and New Zealand, he came to Hong Kong in 1977 where he has been a permanent resident ever since.
Since 1980, he has been the Managing Director of the Fargo Group which has its head office in Hong Kong and offices in the P.R.C., Vietnam and India.
He is a Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France (French Foreign Trade Advisor). He is also Honorary President of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong, and chairman of their China Committee. He is also past chairman of the Europe Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a director of the Hong Kong University - Pasteur Research Center.
He has been a Knight in the French National Order of Merit since 1993 and a Knight in the French Legion of Honour Order since 2000. |
