Bertrand Jalon was born on 2nd January 1940. He qualified with a PHD in Law (Paris), an MBA (Lyon) and a Master of Political Sciences (Lyon). He purchased majority equity in Fargo in 1983. Prior to this he was Chairman and CEO of United Merchants Ltd (London), a leading importer and distributor of food products to the mass market in the UK.

He has held the position of MD of Daher Group’s UK subsidiary, and MD of the Daher Group (Beyrouth, Lebanon). From 1967 to 1977 he was Marketing & Sales Director of SINORG (Nairobi, Kenya), a research institute specialising in computerising government accounting systems and parastatal companies management in Africa.

Born in France in 1947, Paul Clerc-Renaud graduated with a French MBA of Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in 1970.

After setting up and managing subsidiaries for the French SACA group in Australia and New Zealand, he came to Hong Kong in 1977 where he has been a permanent resident ever since.

Since 1980, he has been the Managing Director of the Fargo Group which has its head office in Hong Kong and offices in the P.R.C., Vietnam and India.

He is a Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France (French Foreign Trade Advisor). He is also Honorary President of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong, and chairman of their China Committee. He is also past chairman of the Europe Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a director of the Hong Kong University - Pasteur Research Center.

He has been a Knight in the French National Order of Merit since 1993 and a Knight in the French Legion of Honour Order since 2000.

Deng Xiao Wen qualified with La Langue Et La Litterature Francaise from Wuhan University and has a Master of Ecole Superieur De Gestion (Paris).

He joined the Fargo Group in September 1994. Previously he was a Project Manager in the Chinese Market. His experience in the Chinese market enables Fargo to penetrate more and more deeply into this territory.
